This is a new concept to me but it is very good to read your excellent contribution. I would certainly like to read mote about the drug cartels and the task Force. You are certainly very creative and can capture the attention and imagination of the reader.

Barbara, I just want to say that if I was an agent I would think this is a well balanced query letter. From what I have researched, there doesn't seem to be any magic formula. There seems to be a lot of luck involved. I wish you all the best in your endeavours my friend. Giddy

I'm sorry whenI said dialogue I just meant good story line I have not yet learned all the correct words to describe these story. I still enjoyed the goverment agency and the cartel it makes me think of drug runners in Mexico that we are having problems with. Rita

To be perfectly honest, I am not sure you read it all. This was a Query letter that I am preparing to send off to an agent and I wanted assistance with it. Anyway, it's not a story, it has not real plot and there's no dialogue. I was long pitching what the story is about.

Honey I am 60 years aold I went to the eight grade and I don't have the big words and understanding like a lot of people and yes I did read it. That is why when I write I don't use comm's and the correct punturation. I know how important these writings are to you and I did read it. Rita

I was up until three this morning reading and if it werenot for viewers like yourself helping I would not know how to do certain things. I have one viewer who said she would edit my poems for comma's and the like. I don't even know how I make ky poems come out.I just write them from my heart. I went to the 8th grade and talk about feeling dumb sometimes. I am sorry I did not use the words I should have from now on I'll just write about the story and tell you whether I liked it or not. My poems come from the life I've had I took care of my baby sister and my Momm when they died five months apart. My Dad was a drunk and my poems are a way to get away from all that. Promise no more using words I don't understand will let you know if I enjoyed your writing or not O.K Rita

In my opinion this is an excellent query letter. I found it to be cogent, to the point, and free of any spag. I cannot advise you on how to write the query letter "that works." All I can do is to wish you good luck.
