yea it's my second fave season - winter's my fave, then autumn then spring.... summer ain't even on the 'like' list LOL!

This has correct syllable count and I like the imagery as you say; the sole leaves a faint imprint seasoning autumn.

I love the structure and use of words here. My favorite line is "Your sole leaves a faint imprint". I can see myself stepping on leaves and my foot imprint in the leaves.
