Ronni, this is such a beautifully encouraging poem for anyone who is undergoing difficulties of any kind. What a sweet and kind heart you have to be thinking of others on this Memorial Day weekend. I'm thinking of you and what this kind of a holiday must be like for you. I do hope you feel honored to have sacrificed so much for your country. That doesn't take away the sadness, of course. But you are a very special lady in so many ways. This lovely poem is proof enough of that. May you, too, feel "embraced lovingly beneath His watch." This is a touching and beautiful work presented with your usual artistic talent. The amazing picture compliments perfectly.

You have a spectacularly loving and gentle heart, my friend.
This is a wonderfully encouraging piece. Not only for those you've mentioned, but for me as well. (Been a hard few months). However, despite the struggle, things are looking up. This poem is a delightful reminder of the blessings in my life; and, that all I need do is give my struggles over to Him. Let Him carry the burden of the load. I can trust that whatever the outcome, I'm flowing in His will. Because, all things work together for those that love the Lord and are called according with His purpose.
Be blessed Ronni, and have a sensational day.

Thank you Brad, for such a introspective 6 star review! I am
sad to hear you have had some challenges of your own, but so
heartendt that things are improving! Had I known, I could
have gladly included you among those mentioned. But, I am
so glad to note that this presentation was a timely and
meaningful reminder of what this message imparts.
Thanks for popping by again, and as always, you are so generous
and appreciative of my writings; always endeared by me. I wish
you all the best, and prayers will include you too; for continued
improvement and blessings. Take care of you! Be blessed in
all you do, wherever you go, and be loved...as indeed you are!
Deepest gratiutde always, Ronni

Ronni,
your free verse moved me to tears. Thanks for the lovely tribute. I'm been having issues with my Lymphadema moving from my lets up to my groin area. And my Mom is having a melt down and midlife crisis at age 69. But my prayers were answered when the neighbor lady across the street where my brother lives with his wife needed a job and she used to work in a nursing home. My Mom prayed her to be with me this weekend and next weekend so she can do church activities and be refreshed. The lady is a godsend. Your art work in this poem is pretty. I enjoyed your use of alliteration. I enjoyed your metaphor dawn of tranquil horizons. Have a blessed day and thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Your very welcome dear Melissa! I am so amazed and inspired by
your unwavering bright spirit and colorfully imaginative and
creative writings you post. Have loved reviewing them too.
I am so glad you have had a reprieve in caregiving, giving
your mom a break, and you still having continued care. My
prayers will remain with you and your family, that by and by
more improvement transpires. Bless you for your undaunting
spirit and such strength and optimisim you maintain; a rare
and special kind of heart and soul to keep on keeping on as
you do. Thank you for your lovely response, I am touched and
pleased you found it so meaningful. Take care, God Bless dear!

Nice piece. I read it three times and I think this poem would better be separated into four stanzas for easier flow. The first 3 lines would be one stanza; the next 3 lines, the second stanza; the next 3 lines, the third stanza, with a little work for a new beginning; and a new beginning for the last stanza. Other wise, good work.

This is lovely a thoughtful and generous prayer that flows beautifully from start to finish. I especially liked the opening line " the dawn of tranquil horizons". Set the tone very well. Kathy
