What a beautiful tribute to your friend, I'm sure she was very touched by this poem. You have illustrated it with the most beautiful photograph.
I loved the similes of the rose for purity of friendship and the heart of the soul.

of person that likes sentiments simple and brief, so I tried

This is simply beautiful, Ronni, both in meaning and in presentation. The whole theme is touchingly sweet and the apt simile of a white rose like a pure friendship is lovely. I see nothing I would want changed. It is as beautiful as a rose. :p
