Thank you for the review. Glad you enjoyed it. It is the second reason I write. The first is my own enjoyment and amusement and the connection with others the second. I don't sell anything. It would be like selling my children.

You have conveyed well that mankind so oft fervently believes that which all the eloquence in the world cannot reason its logic in any way and is often closed to the pure logic of other axioms. I could go on and on, this would make a wonderful round table discussion. very well written..loved it...jlsavell

Huh, I'd say!
--"purple is the sweetest sound."
Hmm! Reminds me of those 'special' folks who can 'see' sounds in colors ... The scientific term for them alludes me now.
--Good rhymes and rhythmic flow.

How about politicians who can in the dark and are blinded by truth and honesty. Thank you for reacting exactly as I intended people to respond when they read such things.

Your poem rolls off the tongue well, all except for one curious and striking break in the rhyme scheme (lines 15/16) - puzzling when the rest is so complete.

Thank you. I agree, but you have to use a bit of poetic musicality while reading those lines. Call it poetic license. I struggled with 11/12 but passed it as it is.

A very interesting look at the world and all. Since no errors in both spelling and grammar are present, and the poem itself has a certain flair to it, my attention it did arouse. Nicely written.
