Wow! Do I ever love this grand depiction. You have covered the vents well with a thorough understanding of the subject. I was enthralled by the presentation.

Hi Andrea. Thank you, kind lady, for your wonderful review that leaves me smiling! Kind of schizo these days - writing about saints and ghosts LOL. I really appreciate your support, Paula. Warmest regards...Bev

Your writing style has wonderful composition to it. You obviously know how to bring varied structures into play and how to set up an interesting story with a vividly portrayed setting and believable dialogue.

I know we have talked in the past about medium workings. I do believe that Satan can make himself an angel of light and demons are proven to mimic historical ghosts. To me it will be dicey proposition, one that I would not venture into. But all that being said: I do enjoy your writing style and the build up you brought to this chapter.

Hi Stan. I really appreciate your honest insights and concerns. I hope to present the human face to these types of situation, families and people that suffer as a result of undeserved attention from the spirit world. A certain amount of artistic license, as you know, is helpful to draw the reader in. I do, however, feel a responsiblity not to present the spirit world as romantic. It is as fraught with danger as the human realm, maybe even more so. Again, thanks so much for taking time out to read my chapter. I much appreciate it! Best wishes, Bev

Hi Bev
Wonderful, enjoyed this immensely.
The 1922 section displays your great journalistic documentary style to set the scene ending in dialogue. I would have been tempted to write this all in story form - but it's impossible to fault your writing.
The mostly dialogue driven 2010 section helps to fill in the gaps and whet the appetite for more.
You say this is a work of fiction - but I'm sure I've scene that team in operation on You Tube? From my bedroom window I can see Belgrave Hall - reputed to be the most haunted house in Britain. Your team went there and ended up screaming - the ghosts were caught on camera too - watch it on U Tube!

Hi, Ron. Thank you so much for your exceptional review! I really appreciate the stars. More imporantly, I am thrilled you enjoyed the chapter. You know, once I got into the story I presented first, I was tempted to just continue on with it! But, my goal was to set the scene for the later section. I will definitely have to catch that U Tube on Belgrave Hall. I wonder which American team it was? It's a frightening thing, in my experiences with house hauntings, when you are physically messed with by ghosts - hard to describe how abnormal the feeling is. I really appreciate your support and praise for the piece, my friend, given your experience and superior writing skills! I'm a little schizo these days - saints and ghosts! He He, Bev

Well, the Belgrave Triangle - that's the 500 year old Talbot Inn (my Local, the Hall and St. Peter's Church next door are all haunted. I think the group was TAPS - Ghost Hunters International. They came to debunk and ran away screaming. I haven't met a Saint yet. LOL xx

I think they were called something like TCP-Ghost Hunters International. They came to debunk and left non too happy. LOl xx

Yeah, that group goes to some really ancient haunting sites. I think 'your' ghosts are some of the crankiest around, LOL. XX Bev

I'd love to give them a crack if I lived nearby. Hearing a voice on an EVP does something to a person on hearing it. Nothing like it! xx Bev

I live in the Belgrave Triangle. There's the Hall, the 500 year old Talbot Inn (my local) and a Norman church with lots of underground passages - all haunted. xx

Hmmm ... what a grim subject. I have worked at 'house clearances' and have always found, so far, that the general cause is the tension and stress suffered by one of the family mambers. Pat. xxx

Hi, Pat. That can certainly be a very real cause, but my experiences have been more intense. Maybe because we still have standing an 'Insane Asylum' and Al Capone had quite a few hangouts locally. Thanks for reading, Pat. I appreciate it very much! XX Bev

This was different, which is a good thing. I liked the introduction of the paranormal team and the following almost bullet type writing. Almost like listening to one of the shows on tv. I didn't see any areas to revisit, but truthfully, I got into your story and stayed with it. Regards, Bill

There is a typo in the 2nd paragraph ( succeed) not "succed". Otherwise this is a brilliant story. I love paranormal writes. esp. when there as good as this. Very descriptive and your characters so far are full of depth. I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
