Loved this. Such a sage poem, and it does beg questions worth asking. We are the sum of ourselves, it's said. That's a good thing, or all muses would be inspiring the same things. Really enjoyed what you and yours expressed, especially the final three lines. This is a top entry to theme. Best in the comp. Alyx.

Great freestyle and at first couldn't connect but twords the end I got that energy that you were writing about..also maybe try and chose a diffrent topic something that can connect with me the reader.over all great.thanks

Wow, thank you so much for you enthusiastic and kind review!
I love to try and incorporate some scientific thinking in my writing, but it is difficult sometimes to make it sound poetic, hence the "hatched or dispatched" phrase rather than "created or destroyed!" lol

Excellent descriptive writing, great narrative and very good use of metaphors cap off your free verse. Effective use of alliteration. Your art work is cool. I especially enjoyed the lines; "the flash of ten thousand neurons excitedly sparking in perfect unison from some scintillating stimulus? or a flicker of divine consciousness the energy that gives life in all its preciousness flowing through our bodies with a vital forcefulness." The content of this poem presents a lot of thought itself. And also a lot of truth; our words are sometimes given place for years after we aren't here. At least some of the very honestly written ones stay.

I am a vessel in which thoughts travel through and find there way in an organized thought process. That is quite a mouth full in the description of a poet. This poem just spoke to me.
