That was so beautiful. You did a great job of telling this fine story, in a song. It was very good how it turned around at the end, to now be her turn....Loved this so much, I wish I had a six, but please accept this five, knowing it was worthy of a six! LOL

A truly heart warming poem. I like Pre Chorus 2 when the tense shifts to daughter after her father dies. "She says call me when you get there." Great Story poem with lots of feeling. Thanks for sharing your inspiration. My sympathy on the loss of your father.
