Dear Barbara,
This ongoing battle fills your days. The delivery of life-altering chemo is so simple, but it causes such awful side effects for the one suffering. My prayer is that God will see you through this ordeal and bring you into a new life once on the other side.
Your accounting pulls all of us into your struggle. Please stay focused on Him, and know we are all praying for your full recovery. td

Wow I didn't realize Chemo lasted that long. Thank you for writing this. It's given me a view of what someone with Breast Cancer has to go through. I really don't know how you can keep working. That alone is a miracle. I'll keep praying for you.
Blessings, Donna

Each chemo treatment is individualized. I am just one of the really lucky ones. Thank you for your kind review.

There's this thing called work-at-home! Switch to private tutoring. Do some volunteer work for the PTA! There's being stubborn and there's simply acknowledge the temporary restrictions you must live with. You're no good to anyone if you push yourself too hard, especially yourself. Good luck.

Unfortunately, I have a house payment that needs to be made each month. Even if I took, leave for short term diasablity, which I qualify for it wouldn't pay my mortage. Thank you for your kind review and thoughts.

My sister deals with lots of meds for her MS, her diabetes, her atrial fibrilation, and various symptoms that arise from the MS, like bladder and bowel problems. And I swear, each med has some negative side effect - the scientist who invents chemo treatments and medications that do only what we want them to do without negative side effects should win ten Nobel prizes.
I love the part about nude sunbathing - it's so great to know you still have your sense of humor. :-)
I say you take your doctor's advice and schedule those days off in advance - it's probably easier on your kids and the school to know ahead of time you'll be gone, too - and it sure will be kind to your own tired self :-) Brooke

It would be, but I have a wonderful sub, who can step in at a moments notice. A retired teacher, who exactly how I do things. I have never taken any pills. I take so many now, I should could them. I probably can't count that high. After all, I only teach first grade, there must be a reason for that. (LOL)

Your courage and leadership will reach the hearts of so many women, and because of your selfless efforts, they, too, will summon the courage to fight. It's strong-willed women like you who keep our spirits soaring. God bless you, and please know that my prayers are with you and your family.
