Patty,
This is an excellent poem about your headaches. They sound bad. I used to have ferocious migranes, but medecation has kept them at bay for more than ten years.

I used to get horrible migraines and spend 3 or 4 days in bed. I had a hysterectomy for other reasons, but only get migraines 3-4 times a year now. I can really sympathize and hope you feel better soon! Hugs, Debbie

but you have captured the pure essence of

The picture is appropriate, and I imagine it was quite difficult to find one that suited this work, as I don't think I have seen a poem about headaches before.

Hi, how horrible for you, perhaps it is a migraine and not a headache. I think this is free verse, but I am not one for technicalities, I just know what I like and don't like.
The picture is appropriate, and I imagine it was quite difficult to find one that suited this work, as I don't think I have seen a poem about headaches before.

I began having debilitating headaches at the age of ten.They lasted 30 yrs at least three times a week until I was in nursing school and asked a doctor to experiement on me with a differant treatment. I am now 66 and have one mildly once a year.They last the full 9 mos of pregnancies. I will say a prayer for you to find help.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read and for the generous review. I should be okay when the weather stablizes for the moment. One doctor has told me that having my deviated septum will cure it -- not sure I want major surgery to fix it though. ~patty~

I had doctors give suggestions for differant surgeries also. No guarentees. So I passed.
