Patty,

So Simba rules. Some cats are like that. I enjoyed reading this poem and couldn't find anything to criticize.

Great write but not one of my favorite styles. LOL. Love the pic and he surely looks like the ruler of the house girl. You spoil him I know. He looks so regal!!!!

Yes, Simba is VERY spoiled or at least he was until Harley got here. Now, he thinks he has a horrible life! LOL! There are about 30 more styles in this book to get through, but I really like the Whitney style, and the Rondeau - though I've not yet successfully written one~~ ~patty~

Oh you will though, girl, you will. It's really pretty simple, just keep track of your lines. Love the stories you tell of these guys!!!! Have a beautiful day!!!

You have followed the syllable count well for this form, Patty, though I don't pretend to understand the who Fibonacci thing. LOL I love your use of the multi-syllable "luxurious" for its flow, and it also describes the fur in such a vivid way
And I absolutely love the final line - it is so "cat-like." :-) Brooke

Thank you for reading my latest pet poem. This was a fun poetic form and I was intrigued by its history. Simba is just a bit full of himself right now. He keeps telling Harley that he is famous AND the King around here. LOL! ~patty~

Hi Patty,
What a beautiful and intriguing poem! I love this. Just fascinating. You did a spectacular job of it and I can't wait to try some myself, both the word and the syllable types. I'd never heard of a Fibonnacki poem before though I had heard of the magical Fibonnacki sequence. Both your little poem and the picure have a magic all their own.
Thanks so much for sharing. Hugs, W ^-^

Thank you so much for reading this latest pet poem. I couldn't believe that there was a form based on the Fibonnaci sequence either -- how weird! It was a fun write and Simba feels a bit better now. ~patty~

Patty - I like your poem. It's a new style again that I've never heard of before, so I copied you author notes and saved it in my file for Poetry Styles. Maybe one day I'll try to learn the. You did a great job on this. Kat

Thank you for reading and the generous review. I'm enjoying learning the different types of poetic forms. The author of the book I'm using says they are 42 'classic forms,' but most of us haven't heard of them. It gives me a chance to stretch my wings a bit. Thanks for reading along. ~patty~

Great poem and thank you for explaining the format. It gives a good sense of the cat's ownership of your home and reminds me of my daughter's ownership of mine! well done

No doubt the cat owns you and not the other
way around. The ruler, you say, how cute.
You are a magnificent poet and I love all
the different kinds of poetry you have showed me.
I never thought I could learn so much from one
person, but you proved me wrong.
This is great, as is all your works.
Good luck, my friend. Marie.

Interesting.... fibonacci always interested me, as I enjoy math, but never thought it to be used in poetry. I may have to give that a shot one day. Nicely done poem for Simba. I don't have any cats but our two dogs kinda rule the domain as in top priority.

Symba looks just like one of my cats! This is a cute and lightheartedly enjoyable poem. I hadn't heard of this form before-always good to learn something new! At my house, the dog definitely rules even though the cats were here first. Take care! Debbie

Thank you for reading the latest pet poem! It is kind of fun to try all of these different types of poems. It can't hurt to learn something new - I'm glad you enjoyed it. How big is your cat? Simba weighs about 22 pounds. He is HUGE! ~patty~
