Hi Barb how I wish I could give you a six rating
For some reason Fanstory won't let me?
I like the way you wrote your last chapter
I love the wonderful way you portrayed your characters and especially the romance scene.

Phew ... the puzzle is completed at last. Perfect, perfect ending. Sara has made for herself a solid foundation for a marriage. Joe will not make any more decisions without having her consent -- however thrilling it is -- and this is very important! (Oh, so it is a ring!)

Yes, it was the ring. I tried to tie up all the loose ends, and that was one I hadn't addressed yet. Thank you for your support.

I am glad this ended so happily just as I hoped it would. I guess I would have given in and married Joe since all the arrangements had been made but I am sure I would have resented him taking over and leaving me out entirely of all the decision making. A girl's wedding is special and naturally she would like some say-so. I enjoyed this whole book. You can rest now, you made all your fans happy. I hope you start to gain all your strength back and can get back to normal soon.

Thank you for your kind review. I will probably keep writing. Maybe not as often. I have a story in my head that is busting to come out.

I love happy endings and I would give you fifteen if it were possible. I like how you had Sara standing up for herself to the very end. I will miss the story. Great job.

I have to say I'm sorry this is over. I hope you will be getting your energy back soon and write another. I love seeing your work.

Dani (even chose) the underwear I'm wearing under the wedding gown that she (chose) for me. I didn't even get a say in the nightgown I'll wear on my wedding night."
As sweet as this sounds, and perfect, right, I would be pissed too.

This didn't read right to me.

"Did I hear you say you love me?"

She nodded,so he coninued, "did I hear....

(evil Eddie- skip a line after myself."

"You heard right on both accounts. Col. Joe Barnes, I love you and I forgive you." She smiled. "But don't make it a habit of making all the decisions. This is the new me. I plan on standing up for myself."
"Believe me, I won't. You've taught me a lesson. I won't make the same mistake twice." He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. "Would you like to go bowling?"

Their eyes met. "Yes, I'll marry you and I'll sign Cassie's adoption papers."
(I know he said he asked the biological father, but did he ask Cassie?)

lots of hugs and kisses

I never thought of him asking Cassie. That would be a good touch. I will add that. Thank you for your eagle eye.

I am a little sad that this is ending, but for you, I bet it is a great relief. I hope you are feeling better day by day. I know it takes a long time to get your strength back. Take care and I hope to see more of your writing soon! Debbie

Barbara, well, I have mixed emotions about the wedding plans. On the one hand, I'd be worried that he was a control freak, on the other hand, he is used to being in charge and had a deadline. It did sound impromtu but very romantic. So, I'd probably be like her, mad/sad/glad all at once and say yes too. Very nice story and I've enjoyed reading it along the way. And you, please keep getting better.

Oh, this was a wonderful ending. I'm so happy Sara agreed top marry that fabulous man, who I think is every woman's dream. The fact that he wanted to adopt Cassie was so heartrending.

Hullo Barbara ....

I think that this really deserves the 6th star - both for the unusual and imaginative ending you have given to your story and the fact that you have achieved all this despite your ongoing battle with chemo etc.
There is nothing to suggest changing and I wish you success with this book.
Love from ..... Nanette Mary.
