I enjoyed reading this beautiful poem. You created strong imagery. I visualized everything and could almost smell the vanilla. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

I very much enjoyed reading this beautiful and quite unique poem of love. Its subtle imagery and powerful-yet-gentle emotion weave together very nicely, flowing very smoothly through a very pleasant format, with the alternating verse-endings. Great job! Andy

A very metered rhyme. I like the constant scent reminder of your romantic type poem. Thank you for sharing.

This is well written .And I like the wording.I like the way you ended each one of the lines with two of the same words.And the picture is perfect.

This is really good. I read it and liked it without knowing what mantilla is. I looked mantilla up in the dictionary and read this again, it was even better. This is a beautiful love poem.

Somehow in reading this, I don't see an Old Fogie writing it at all. Though you've used the same two rhyming words and differently in every line they appear, the appeal of this write is overwhelming. I really enjoyed this one you!!! Bravo.
