How very inspiring. Ten years ago I injured my back very badly. I was the kind of person that couldn't stay home and sit. I could relax just fine when I was out at someones else's place ect. But when I was FORCED to the couch, God showed me that if I don't take the time to recoup, then he will find a way for me to stop. To learn, to listen, to paint, to play piano, to write, to crochet...On and on with things that I NEVER would have done before being bed ridden. I send you my prayers and support. I love how you give God the glory in your writing. I'm going to be reading a lot more of your work now. God Bless, Lavender

While I am aware of most of these side effects, some of them I had no idea of. Obviously, you are a strong woman and appear to be handling as well as some and better than most. I am proud for you and proud of you. I pray all this discomfort will soon be a thing of the past.

This is a very interesting and obviously brave piece of writing.
The writer manages to engage our sympathy without appearing at all sorry for herself. She treats the theme with great precision and humor.
The poem is good, showing her determination to win her fight and also her belief in God's support.

We are all here for you. My best friend has cancer. I truly believe in peppermint cacndy for nausea. See if that helps. It is cheap too. I am so glad your spirits are staying up. Well done! Kudos to you for your brave fight. I am very glad you aren't seeing the full gamut of side effects. My mother was one of the ten percent or so patients that see nearly every side effect listed. She, like you, was a busy woman, and had to be reminded to rest ;-) Prayers to you as you enter the next phase of the battle. May you kick that cancerous villain in the ass!

please know that you have been in my thoughts this holiday season. You, my little "adopted daughter who is in the middle of chemo, and all my cancer patients at the hospital. A time when we all stop and give thanks for our friends and family.
I gave you a six, because I know you could have used your strength for other things. Also, because you did explain your treatments in everyday language.
With regular hot flashes women use a yam cream, made from the yam potato. But check with your doctor. It sounds very safe and shouldn't interfer with the chemo, but i can't say for sure. Be sure to always carry an old fashion fan or two in your purse. Buy yourself a small fan to sit on your desk or whatever. And there are little battery operated hand held fans. these are usually very quiet and shouldn't interfer with your life. These helped with my regular hot flashes.
And I don't mean to nag. But you have to get plenty of rest. That is when your body is repairing itself. Rest and more rest.
Hang in there. and I hope you felt well enough to enjoy Christmas.

That is too much for anyone soul to have to endure. You are a very brave person to do this type of treatment. I knew about certain aspects of this kind of treatment, but not everything that you have pointed to here. I found this article well written and I wish for you a speedy recovery from this awful disease... John

for you are the brightest star in F/S I know I thank you for sharing . at first I thouyght why do people want to get into her private business. until last night one of my daogthers friend came to wish me happy hoilday and Inform us she might have Caner in her stomach shes been in the hosptail and all that stuff. It was like pulling teeth geting information finally she felt comfortable about talking about it. this helps us to understand her flight as you are doing so bravely for your friends at F/S
god blessed you stay stronger and keep up the fight. Remember It's hard to fall down when your on your knees( praying )

I write these updates for two reasons, the first is I hope in some way it will help somebody else gain the strength to fight this battle. The other reason is everybody knows somebody going through this fight. I hope a better understanding will help their friend.
