One of the most beautiful stories I have ever read and very true. When my mom was near death she told me her mother had come for her. So much love I can cry.

It isn't often a story sends a shiver down my spine these days. I loved your take on the Christmas card box. I detected do discernible grammar or spelling errors and the story flowed nicely.

What a very beautiful ending to this story. Isn't it amazing what can be accomplished with very few words. I like the concept of the box, and I love the concept of an entire lifetime's friends and acquaintances escorting the good father to Heaven. Nancy

What a great story! It gave me goose bumps. I think it's the kind of story that works really well at this time of year. Can't you see it as a movie? I can. Anyway, nicely done. One little thing: THREW his thick gray hair should be THROUGH.

This is a beautiful, well written story. How very creative and extremely thought out this story is. You use phrases like," gentle warm breeze, flow through his thick gray hair," to create an eerie sense of mystique. Totally enjoyable, wonderful Christmas story. Thank you for sharing.

This reminded me of a hymn, "Bringing in the Sheaves." Your story is well written in the warmth of the Christian Spirit. Good luck in your contest.

Sasha, this is an outstanding piece of work. It is so comforting to know that the Father passed over with such ease and grace, and that he had people whom he had known and loved welcoming him. Bravo!
