I love how you embraced the new born kitten and how Sissy trust you enough to do so.
I love the movement of your story and how it slowly leads into something else and interesting to the very end. This is a good write.

Hi Cookie! Thank you very much!! I sure love spring, but do fear these storms. I still can't wait until March and April!! I hope I make it to see another spring! It's what I live for. Thanks again Cookie! xoxo. Susan

Weather can change in some areas, but twisters can be real eye-openers. This is very well written. I've heard that cats were created to keep dogs in line.

") Ha! I bet that's right too! ") Thank you Charlie. We have been lucky so far, with twisters...just coming close and not hitting us as of yet? THere's always a first...boy. I bet southern Indiana is drier than where you are Charlie! I am a prune now for sure! FIVE months, just two sprinkles that didn't even dry the dust...good to hear from you! Susan

We are in a nine year drought. You're welcome, Susan.

Oh, that's right, you told me that once. NINE YEARS. Oh, I can't stand it. I am so sick of being dry. My skin hurts. How do you stand it C?? Wow. S.

Aloe Vera Lotion, once a week.

Oh Charlie! I put lotion on about every hour or so...maybe I use the wrong kind, but nothing helps...and I can only drink so much water. I will try Aloe Vera! I have an off name right now! Thanks!! S.

Great imagery and very well written and I don't see any spags. I liked the suspense with the tornado coming right toward you. A day of loving kittens and a tornado to boot. A lot happened. Great write. Cody

This is a good piece of short prose. I thought that the first line was just delicious. The descriptive language is very strong, tightly written. The end was a little sudden and unexpected, but I thought that was what you were going for.

I like how your piece started out like a lovely spring day, light-hearted, full of hope. Then, as the storm moves in, the story takes a dark turn and ends tragically. You did a great job keeping me interested, and in your descriptions, I felt I was right there with you.

Oh, I envy you all your animals
around you - after losing my cairn
terrier, I decided not to have
another dog since we are out and
about a great deal. Wouldn't be
fair.

a most enjoyable read, and a perfect
picture with it.

Bobbling - I've never heard that word before - I do like coming across new ones

it's silvery
its silvery

Margaret

") Yes, I wasn't sure it was a word at first, so I found it in my dictionary! Kittens do bobble around, I particularly love how their little tails tremble as they learn to walk! Just watch one sometime, when it's about two, three weeks old!! Their tails stick straight up like little flags, as they try to navigate. SOoo cute!! My son likes cats too and raised two up from birth. They are now big tom cats out at the barn. Still sweet, they really are. I should have had them fixed. I am so sorry you lost your dog Margaret! My brother wants a dog, but like you, doesn't want it to be lonely! So, Thank you for this lovely review, and I did take out that blankety blank apostraphe...") Susan
