My thoughts and prayers go with you as you begin your journey to recovery. Keep a positive thought and refuse to let the bad win you over. Good luck.

You will flourish in vigor and health will prevail. This was a well written poetic voice. It was my pleasure to have read and written a review for... John

Hello Barbara,
My goodness sweet, this sure is not
an easy thing to go through.
Chemo is rouph, very rough.
You are in my prayers and I know
FS is praying and sending good thoughts
your way too. ((hugs))
You know, I would encourage you to keep writing,
because your story will help other's understand, gain
insight and strength from your experience.
It also shows them that what they are dealing with emotionally, phyically and mentally is normal. It also helps family and friend better understand, so they can be more supportive. I'm here for you anytime, just let me know. I'll be sending good thoughts your way in hope that you get through this in the best way you can though I sure do realize the cure is almost as bad as the cancer.
Bless your heart, hang in there my friend, Love Patty

Oh my, my. I'm sorry, after reading your author notes, I can't focus on the poem now. I can, have, bowed my head and said a prayer asking for strength for you as I'm sure this will be one of the hardest things you will have to go through.

I will print this and post on my desk...that way I can send loving energy every time I look at it.

Barbara, just hang in there. The poem says a lot and I wish you well. I have never heard of anyone losing their fingernails, and have had several friends do chemo. Good luck and God bless.

This is what my chemo oncologist said. I am on some very serious chemo drugs and will get my treatments more often than usual. I guess they have to kick my cancer in the butt.

Hi Barbara,

I know you will be victorious in your fight against the demon cancer. Every year 'he' gets weaker as new methods of treatment are discovered. The fear you feel is understandable and it comes though every line of this powerful poem. You must never forget you are not alone. Your friends and family will take this journey with you. I have never known of a patient who have lost their finger nails so I hope you don't either. A doleful but wonderful poem. Blessings, chey

My prayers are with you during this difficult time, Barbara. In many ways Chemo can be even worse than the cancer. God's blessings to you.
Patrick.

The dreaded big C has finally hit your body. I don't know how to convey my thoughts to you, except to say: You are very brave in writing what you did. Sometimes just getting things out into the open can give us a new inner strength. I pray the Lord will be by your side in the weeks to come and his grace will fill you completely. Blessings, Paul
