It is rather short but to the point. Well written with good flow. The feelings of the house of worship is described very nicely and makes a good impact on the reader's mind.

I don't think I've ever given a six star rating to eight tiny lines of prose before, but this was well deserving - and I'm not even a religious person.

A very thought provoking story with a wonderful message. It was really interesting that you wrote this from a mult- religious viewpiont, which shares their similarities and deemphasising their differences. It's a really good story in such a few words. Good luck with the contest.

Thank you, sibhus. I'm glad you enjoyed this story. I couldn't write it from only one religious point of view, since people of different faiths worship too.

Ah, this one is original and well written. Nicely said. She, the church, did just that...kept her doors open to all with the desire to enter in, but alas, you can't predict something like this, but you almost expect it. Ignorance is a disease LOL Awesome. Good luck in the contest.

I can so testify to the goodness of these open doors. When I was in great emotional pain I used to go to the church, and its door was always open! What a relief it was. Thank you for the memories your story brought back to me.

I love the originality of this story. Your making it about house of worship, by different religions, warms my heart. This is such a great little story. I love the way you have used the she to refer to a church. It is so sad when anyone chooses to descrate a church because of hate for some religion. This shoulc be a strong contender for this contest.
