Does that mean the marriage went down the drain also? Nice piece, I could feel your apprehension and frustration in your loss. The money wasn't the issue it was the sentimental value, right? The suspense was good also, I was expecting to have hubby throw on the disposal switch thinking it was just jammed or something else was wrong.

Love the art work I got a ring story to tell one day too. I tell that's one of the reason I like this site it helps me with my memories , well at least the good ones and they seem so few.Losing your ring must have blew your mind thnk goodness you have a husband who loves you.

I loved this writing. It is so funny, but also so true. If one thing goes wrong especially when you've expecting company, then it all will. So glad it ended well. c

Well it was enjoyable and kind of humourous to read, but not as strong of a poem as I would have liked. Meter was off in some areas, especially the very last couplet. Seems like the person panics a lot, something we can all relate to. Very good work to read

Very sweet poem.I love poems that rhyme.And this one is so cute.Not to make your problem of losing your ring any worse than it was.(if you lost it)But it was a fun poem to read.Had a really good flow to it.
