Oh such challenges to our lives when parting is such sorrow. Yet for the betterment of the whole, one must part. Lingering close to each others heart. Yes one can feel the tears as one parts, while being reassured by the other that they will never really be apart. Very well written and very touching in more ways than one. Nicely done. Thank you.

what a lovely poem showing loyalty to a friend.
i've let so many friends slip away .
in fact i've hardly kept in touch with anyone
from now on i will cherish them no matter where i go i'll keep in touch

A wonderful description of how you would like to reassure someone of your feelings. It is difficult to part company even from an associate when you have developed a reliance on the support you give each other. Well done.

A very supportive, but at the same time inviting poem for 'Sir'. He must be very glad to find his fancies near him. If not, let him pick the phone and read the poem every time he says, "I miss you."
