Well done. Nice rhyme, good message. story line seems to cut short at the end. Who reassures the husband the wife will not leave with or without the baby? Perhaps a few more stanzas are in order, or maybe not. Thank you anyway.

Most women go into the baby blues after having a baby and in my poem the dad has to reassure his wife he still loves her more now then before to help her get through it. She don't leave him, she just needs his support. I hope this clears up your thoughts on this poem.

thank you, yes, went through baby blues when wife lost our second child. and yes it does affect both parents espcially the woman. again nice piece. thank you.

Beautiful poem about postpartem depression. Funny, I didn't experience the emotion but I know of many others who went through that trying period. Many of those didn't have that special person in their life to cheer them up. Your wife is very lucky. Congratulations on your child.
