What a touching little love poem. Yes, usually love starts on rocky roads with problems that often seem insurmountable, but love will see us through. This poem has great rhyming, meter and flow. An excellent write... katz meow

Thanks for a great poem and I try to take the negatives and turn them into a positive somehow.
This was a sad yet uplifting poem towards the end with a nice fluid read all the way through.
You more than met the parameters with this well written piece of sadness and I wish you the best of luck.

This poem takes a different slant on the contest theme of a sad poem. The details remind us that there will be times we are sad, but if we keep our chin high up in the air it can help to free us from all care. In other words, have a positive attitude. I think the word 'wheres' doesn't need an apostrophe since it isn't an appreviation. I'm not sure, though. Good luck with the contest. ann
