I think it is sweet that Leya thinks Steven will be angry with her. I'm sure she will be comforted and will feel differently soon.
Even thought the sheriff quickly came to the wrong conclusion, I like him. ;)
I like the humor you infused in this chapter. Matt giggling over Steven's misfortune is fun.
I enjoyed this chapter. I have no suggestions.
Your author notes mention artwork. I guess it was removed? lol

After a period of time the artwork is removed. I am not sure why. Some of the artists I used have stopped allowing FS to use their work. Thank you for the kind review.

Other than being stuck in bed with my ankle elevated and on ice, I am doing fine. A lot better than you are doing after your surgery. I hope things get better for you. I have e-mailed you. I hope you received it.

I did get your email. They don't have any wi-fi here so I got Cricket to get onn the internet. I can get my email, but I can't get the settings right to send. I'll answer it as soon as I get that figured out.

Matt is a good friend - Steven is in too big of a haste to be angry - so is Leya.

Another well written and emotional chapter, which keeps the reader involved. The chapter moves again at a great pace, and your use of dialogue, as always, is consistently good. You have managed to stay with the characters, and the use of internal thoughts lends another depth.

Sorry, it has taken so long to answer this, working with first graders I caught all the crude they catch and this time it put me in bed a few days. Thank you for the kind review.

An excellent continuation of the last part. I think it's a little funny how Leya keeps accidentally getting Steven in trouble. The you write down Leya and Steve's thoughts really adds to the story.
