Exceptional
This work has reached the exceptional level

Curt, my god, what a horrible picture. I have to give this a six because what you write puts me right there, so I can feel the fear, the pain. I think of the wilds as a calm, peaceful place, but with the wrong people, it can be an absolute hell, as you so aptly describe. It is precisely because the forests or any wild places take us far from any protection we might otherwise have, that these atrocities can take place. Songs can indeed be life savers. I wish you well my friend,
Laura

    Thank you Laura,
    Your thoughts touch me deeply.
I like to go out in the woods these days, but never, never at night, and I always take "protection" with me when I do go in the form of a 12 guage. Only then can I feel at peace with nature. I know it's pretty f'd up, but considering I can even go into the woods is an accomplishment for me.
    Take care my friend,
    Curt

I am glad you can go out and enjoy the beauty of the woods, but it is a wise thing to take some "protection" for sure. Take care friend,
    Laura

Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted

I am SO PLEASED that you are now an adult and also that you can explain to the rest of us what monsters we can be.
This is a horrifying write, dear friend, of the most painful sort. Yet, you are here.
Pat.

Here I am, that much is true, writing all of this poetry for you,
but then again I still write it for me, and the damaged goods you'll never see.
