Leya has really messed things up. It is a little hard to sympathize with her - when she could have avoided this by not going behind Steven's back to get the documentation. She should have been honest and up front with him. I think he would have understood.
I really like Matt. What a generous and caring man. :)
Great chapter. It reminds me of watching a movie and yelling at the characters on the screen. I was yelling at Steven and Leya. Ha Ha.
One suggestion:
The men can handle that and I have saved over ninety days of leave. (Omit 'and' to make it two sentences. It improves the flow.)
If she's anything like Dani, she'll eventually get to the point. I need to let her talk. <--This cracked me up!

since he already used her name in the dialogue before this one, you can simply use she in place of Leya here.

I'm sorry I missed a couple of chapters and now I'm catching up. Most of the time I'm home in two or three days but this time I've been gone for two weeks.I just wanted you to know why I missed two chapters. No mistakes and great word flow.

Excellent crafting... pace, storyline, interaction and dialogue. I'm not sure I know any men who would put this kind of effort into another guy's relationship but yet it's true to Matt's character development thus far so it works well.

A really good read - I was disappointed to get to the end. This was apparently very well edited, so didn't really notice any areas for improvement. Talk about a strange relationship! I will circle back around and read some of the other chapters.

Just to let you know I have done a first reading of this chapter, and decicided to go back to the very begining in order to start reading the whole book.
Still I am strugling in phase 1, trying to understand the scope and meaning of the gigantic series of numbers already presented in the titles:
Chapter 42: Chapter 12; part 1 and Task Force 385....among many others that I am sure I will encounter going back to Chapter 1, Chapter 1; part 1, Task Force 001!!

Just to let you know I have done a first reading of this chapter, and decicided to go back to the very begining in order to start reading the whole book.
Still I am strugling in phase 1, trying to understand the scope and meaning of the gigantic series of numbers already presented in the titles:

Thank you for your review. I used to title my chapters, but then someone suggested I don't. I number them so I know where they belong in my manuscript.

This is an extremely well-written and interesting novel. The plot is moving along nicely, however, I'm not certain whether Leya will ever recover from Matt and Steven. Wow! My compliments on job well done. Looking forward to the next chapter
