Hi L&P,
In the last five years, I have lost a lot of family and friends and the last one was last October, my dad passed away. I have my bad and good days, but when that aching tide threatens to carry me away, I have Jesus to call on. I feel your pain within your words, but I am so glad your able to express yourself through your writing. Excellent poem. Thank you for sharing.
Becky

so often those of us who survive wonder why our loved one was taken and we breathe on - I can only imagine how much the pain of your daughter's loss cost you. You express your heartfelt feelings about this so well. Brooke

It is pain beyond description. Some days it isn't in my face but others are unbearable. Thank you Brooke for your kidness. Blessings, Barbara

Bless you, barbara. You sound like you are having a "down" day. Hey, tomorrow will be better. It's rough losing our friends. We wonder when we will join them when we get to be seventy like me. LOL...good poem, barb....Bob

This is a very profound poem, full of questions that they don't have an answer. I liked this line "now approaching old age still here while you are gone in your prime." Enjpy your limbo, dear friend.

Awwwwww, {{{{{BARB}}}}},

I'm so sorry you are suffering so! And I commend you for having the courage to write about your pain.

Have you talked to your doc about depression?

Called a local hospice to see about bereavement counseling? (Many offer free grief support - individual and support groups for bereaved persons.) If you need help locating one in your area, just PM me and give me a major city that you are near. Hospices are all throughout the country.

Your writing is flawless - nothing to suggest correcting, and your verse is quite effective in conveying what you are feeling.

Thank you for sharing with us (and please don't hesitate to PM if you want me to help you locate quailified grief counselors to help!).

HUGS,

Jan

I guess it is just my nature to deal with things. A life long habit. Easier to write with stranger than try to say things. Thank you sweet friend for your concern. Blessings, Barbara

    Hi Barb,

Well, yes, I'm like that too--I deal with things, rather than repressing or ignoring.

BUT - dealing does not necessarily imply ALONE. We can get help and when things are as intense as what you convey in your writing, it's likely a good time to do so!

Please feel free to pm anytime...

    HUGS,

    Jan

Dear Lov'n Peace (I love your name) - I, as many, can relate so much to you beautiful words. Speaking for myself, there is no worse place to be on this earth - than in Limbo. You have captured the empty numbness so well. Great job!

Wow! Do I ever feel your pain and relate to your poem. Sometimes the numbness or as you say, limbo, really is a welcome relief from the pain. I'm sure your poem will touch many. God Bless you, Samantha
