Hi, Barb. Sorry I've been away for the past month and have missed your work. I missed you too..This poem speaks of honesty in a woman's life and I can't say that I blame you for liking your farm. My wife is on facebook every single day and loves it with her farm...LOL.. don't do it, only because I would never get any writing done if I facebooked.....Take care. This is a wonderful poem...Bob

Oh yes, i am one of those who understand. I live in a box of my own, not care too much about my possessions but the thinks that denote who i am. My writings, my pictures, my souvenirs. Kind of think of it, I don't want to leave my beautiful box!

Amen sister. I think there are more of us than people would guess. As our world gets scarier there are more of us that feel safer in our own world. Blessings, Barbara

"Some understand" This recluse certainly does, but occaionally I step out of the box and have a day with family. Today was one of them. Daughter and her daughter, #1 son and his daughter and son, and my ex, the children's mother. Fantastic home-cooked Mexican food and lot of visiting. Now, back in my box for another month, I peek out to cyberspace :<)

This line-
possessions desposed of
spelled "disposed."
I suppose some will understand why someone would want to sequester themselves in an enclosed, cutoff skipping record of their past, but I don't. What a waste of living! It's like buying a filet mignon and then just looking at it, or buying a brand new car only to let it sit in the garage. Life is for living and those who waste that life are as guilty of sin as any criminal.
You did well in describing the thoughts of a very needful person, a person who needs to live again.
Curt
