Wow...more amazing than the rest. Really lovely.
The line I say is crooked
doesn't exist.
It's just a deviation
from my own within. ---you are blowing me away.
So happy to find a kindred poet... love what you do.
Zoe Yates---nothing to not like.

This was well done. So many times people do just as you at the art museum, trying to understand the message the painter was trying to get across. We look into the painter's mind and understand ... or misunderstand. Your poem tells of this. Excellent musings throughout.

This is incredible...well structured and full of movement, passion, and insight into an artist vision. You fully used your words to play to his art...just loved it very much, well done! Bravo, hugs, twomoon, good luck

The meshing of art and poetry together fits like a hand and glove. This poem so aptly asks the question of the artist, and then the painting inspires not only the writer but the reader of the poem as well. I like the questioning and wondering about the painting. I'll still be thinking about this one later. Good luck with the contest. ann

This is the best accomplishment. To induce someone's curiosity to think about something I wrote. What a gift!

Your poem, like Chagall's painting is off center, but i am confident that was your intension.
Louvre in (their) [his] lifetime. - Grammar error.

Beautiful writng and a beautiful poem.
It has everything, imagery, lovely words.
And excellent metaphors. The rhythm is
note worthy too. I enjoyed your notes too.
I never knew anything about Chagall. I
love the way you describe his work. Your
poem is like that; a dreamlike state.
Great job
Good luck.

A contest entry that depicts a painter being loose with his easal and paints and decides to paint a portrait at arediculous angle to impress and give the interested parties something different not only to look at at but also to talk about for many a day.
