WHAT a heart-felt paean to your soul mate. We have many on this earth... and those of us who are lucky enough to realise, as you have, are fortunate indeed. You will never lose her, because you will rejoin her when your own time comes. I cannot send a card, friend, because I am quite new here, and I did not know her. I can, however, send a prayer that her passing be smooth and that your comfort at her easement from this life will override your loss. Pat.

Such sadness, but words needing to be written, like the disease itself, it must progress. I too, am losing my most precious friend to ovarian cancer, a grueling aggressive cancer that has no mercy.
There is nothing I can say to you to ease your pain. Time is the only thing that will allow your pain to fade. But it never goes away.
