Nice story. It sounds so much like the traditional Christmas feast all the way down to the bratty cousin. It brought back memories but then it was still very much like the one we had yesterday except for Fibber McGee and Molly. I love fruitcake. It wouldn't be Christmas without one. I don't understand why that are such a joke with most people. I loved your story.

I hate fruitcake, and I wonder if anyone truly likes it. I guess the elderly do because they always seem thrilled to see it. This was really cute.

I like this story. It really does read like a child wrote. I like the way the story starts with the preparations for dinner and ends with the end of dinner - him feeling sick and going to get sicker, by the looks of it.

Ahhh, gluttony! How difficult it is not to do that at Christmas time.

Good

This a basic gathering for the Christmas dinner and it's fixin's. There is no great build -up to anything, but rather hum-drum. It would of been nice to hear of an old tradition or how the little guys got along together or something to break up the day.
