What a delightful and fun story. I just love the twist on the "Three Bears". Great job with this one. Sorry no one helped you clean up after Thanksgiving...something I taught my children at a very early age. Now that they are grown up with children of their own, it pleases me to no end to see them teach their children the same courtesy.

Unfortunately, my children are quick to help others, but not so much Mom. They think I h=am the super Mom..capable of handling it all. I appreciate the review..does the four stars mean you think the story was missing something? I value your opinion so please feel free to tell me. Smiles, Carol

Hi Carol, this is a wonderful story. I really liked the ending and her remark about watching for bears. Hope you had a great Thanksgiving even with all the work.

Very good take on "Goldie Locks and the Three Bears". It was very enjoyable and I think that you should get it published.

Thank you My Friend,

Knowledge

I wish there were more stars to give you! This is a wonderful story and one I wish I had known when my kids were small.

The dialogue is great - the action taken by the characters is so real - and I love, love, love the last line.

Perfect and a joy to read!

Sunny

Hi Begin Againn, I totally agree that we're never too old to learn...period. It was especially a good read for children. Well done.

I know the feeling and know our parents are glad we took the entire load from them this Thanksgiving and had it at a nieces's house. Mom was relieved. I think we just have to kindly delegate as you did in your story, which isn't always easy to do. Nice little twist on story. Well written and got your point across. Jean

So glad you enjoyed the little story. I have to learn to delegate more...my children are use to Mom doing it all. Thanks for the review. Carol

An amusing story. I often wish I had children to clean up my home. (It's the typical writer's apartment with papers and books everywhere.) Although this story is fun, it also serve a didactic function in teaching children to clean up after themselves. The poem is exactly the right length for a child's attention span. I see your intended reader as an eight-year old girl. Am I right? A nice twist on Goldilocks and The Three Bears . Oh, instead of pajama glad , I think you mean pajama clad . That's a minor concern, however. A great story about the trials and tribulations of being a parent.

I guess I was partially asleep this morning when I wrote this or at least part of my brain was...thanks for catching the error. Yes, I was thinking of a seven or eight year old little girl...teaching them a bit of responsibility. Thanks again for the review. Carol

escaped Goldie lips - Goldie's
What fun - Goldilocks in reverse - this time Goldie is the one having the mess created in her house! LOL I love the threat of the bears wanting revenge from the original Goldilocks. This is really clever and fun to read :-) Brooke

Thanks so much...My children were lacking in the cleaning department this Thanksgiving and for some reason this story came to my mind. Thanks so much for the review and I am glad you enjoyed it.

This was cute. I don't think too much would threaten our older guests. We would really have to come up with a wild story. Glad you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

My children think Mom is there to provide them with their Thanksgiving Dinner and then enjoy themselves. I love doing it, but a little help would have been appreciated. Smiles, Carol

I know what your saying. You have to start delegating jobs. I usually say, it you woun't mind putting that in the sink or would you take that and put it in the refrig. We love to have our family and friends around us, but they need to help a little.
