Well you definately captured the moment. Whew! My husband needs to come home! I really enjoyed some of your word choice. You were able to say what so many know or experience with such variety, and in unexpected ways, but at the same time you didn't. The rythem of the poem seemed to be broken by the lapses between the unique and the expected. I loved that last stanza though, with the mans promise, as though he knew what she was giving. I would have loved see the poem through his eyes. It would have been easier to connect with one view point, instead of switching from 1st to 3rd person. I can here the passion and beauty of the moment though, and would like to read more of your work.
