You are on a roll, Brooke, with this ottava rima thing by making it a great vehicle for your lovely descriptive writing and for your characteristically strong end rhymes. The flow is smooth as you portray a fantasy wedding that is delightful. So what's next...Disneyland? Happy Happy Happy forever in (shudder) fairyland? or the mundane ordinary bliss of most well matched creatures? I look forward to tomorrow's installment.
Nice job.

My little girl loves Disneyland - she gets season passes - you wouldn't be making fun, would you?? You're already skating on thing ice with the whole fairy thing. LOL Thanks, Amicus. Brooke

A vivid magical picture. At least for me. You paint it so beautifully with your words. I love "fairy tales". I wish that I had your discipline to write in the strict poetic formats that you are so talented at creating.

Brooke, I just got lost in
this wonderfully delicate
poetic tale. It has to be
a favorite with your daughter,
I read it to my granbabies and
they just thought it was the
best ever. Excellently well
crafted. I don't think you
needed to post in two sections, you
could have posted it all at once
and you would have been fine..it
is such a delicious dreamy read.
no nits...Lora

Lora, thank you - she has not read it yet but I do hope she will love it :-) I am posting in sections because I only wrote two verses yesterday and then read two verses today. It takes FOREVER to write them! LOL Two more tomorrow and I am done! Brooke

Lovely advancement of this little fairy tale, Brooke. Now on to the reception. I have a question though. I know he's a king but king of what. Humans or toads or some other creature. Just curious. Or do I use my imagination. Cause if that's the case, the receptions at the playboy mansion. LOL

Tony, thank you. Well, he's marrying a fairy princess, so I assumed people would assume he was a fairy king. I don't even want to think about a coupling between a fairy who fits on a snail and a human guy! Yuck. LOL And King of the Toads??? I am sorry to sound prejudiced, but this is a pretty pretty fairy here - she can do better than a toad! LOL Brooke :-)

So complicated for this small brain of mine. I'm glad there's people like you that can keep up with it, so people like me can enjoy reading it. Once again you have done a wonderful job.

Great work. I love to read this type of fantasy, and I admit that I have tried to write it with no success at all. The imagery is amazing and the characters are well fantastic. Will look for more in the next couple of days.

Sometimes I think you peer into my wardrobe to find a fitting outfit for you characters. I haven't had my buttermilk organza lace with pearls on for next to forever. I like the story, keep it rolling. I am being patient, see. Mike

Once again, sweetly elegant. I enjoyed my brief sojourn with the woodland folk in their time of rejoicing. Thanks for the glimpse into such a beautiful realm!
