The story continues to fascinate me and I'm going directly to part 3. I like the whimsy, the fantasy and feeling of adventure this poem shares. ann

I love this one as well. So full of magical fantasy, my kind of poem. Lovely writing as always. Now, I'm off to read part three!

Okay, now where were we? (LOL)

More of the same, I see. Gorgeous, descriptive language, imagery that just won't quit, all pulling this reader into your fairyland setting, making me feel like I'm standing in that dell, taking it all in...

I guess that's what great poetry is supposed to do, and this one delivers in spades, Brooke.

Shame that the rest of the world and its so-called leaders can't attend that wedding. They could learn a lot from these lines:

Such joy allowed no room for feud nor fear,
as every creature crawled from out its lair,
no predators nor prey this day of peace,
as all, of one accord, sought war's surcease.

Nicely done. Love it. Can't wait to see how it ends!...Jim.

I can't add really to the comments I have made about the other two sections. They are all utterly delightful. In this one I particularly love the first stanza and the description of the dresses. Magical indeed. Sally

Like the first section, this one is very fun to read. I love that you're writing a poem about a fairy wedding. It's really great.

Oh, Pearly One, your writing just glows when you spin a magic spell like this with your imaginative and appealing fairy lore. This is fantasy octavva rima at its very best.

The sequel! Woohoo!

I feel a little underdressed. Others are wearing spider's silk, lace and pearls, and here I am with pink, plaid pajama pants and a tan tank top. (Like that alliteration? haha)

This is delightful. Such a beautiful union of a loving king and his lady bride in buttermilk.

What a lovely display of a peaceful wedding day.

What a beautiful wedding. I almost felt as if I was there spying on them. You can just feel the love pulsing between them as well. A wonderful second piece to go with the first!

This is the second part, and I loved it. I can see them standing there waiting to marry. This is really something that you have put a lot of thought into.
