Exceptional! I printed these three parts out, so I could appreciate it as a whole! Brooke, this is a delightful poem; a wonderful, magical, poem. And, I know I said I'd review it Sunday, but I've been mad, crazy busy!
Fabulous image: "but none outshone the bride in buttermilk,
organza lace and pearls upon her dress."
And this is a great thought--love it: "... I knew he'd forfeit crown before he ever let his lady down."
I love the universal message of the last two lines; a pure Brook-ism!

I was determined to read this is the correct order. Sorry it took me so long to get back to reviewing. This is simply beautiful and I am adding it to part one of my favorites. I could go on and on about how well it is written but once again I will just sound like a broken records.

Hi Brooke Your poem not only tells but shows a delightful scene. Such tricky rhyming pattern which you have done so well. Cheers Gaye

I like this very much Brooke... my only glitch is that I think you have created something very "stately" but have missed the "magical" part of faerie-ness... I haven't felt the "wonder" of fairy dust being sprinkled about!! lol I hope I see the magic in part three...

How delightful! I actually read part three first and had to go back to read the others, to hear the whole story. I recently read Eragon with its dragons, elves and fairies. You create this world for the reader in incredible imagery.

Idyllic and beautiful... peace while a loving couple joins for life.
I love the descriptions, the emotions, and the joy in every line.
You are a storyteller...
Can't wait for the next one.
