Nicely done - I loved the alliteration. Didn't see any errors that need fixing. Though I loved the picture you chose, I felt that the colored fonts were unnecessary.

Hi Gert,
I actually remember my first day in first grade. My teacher's name was Mrs. Furst... and I sat in the front row with my Big Chief tablet and yellow number 2 pencils. I don't remember much more about grade school except for lunch, recess and watching the clock for the final bell to go home.

I think the first day is filled with curiosity but also apprehensiveness about what the heck this brand new experience might be all about. Of course, recess is a welcomed relief and a chance to chat with and interact with fellow classmates, maybe during a fun game of dodge-ball.

Thanks for the wonderful review on this six worder. Recess had to be the highlight of the day ... a chance to go outside and chat with fellow classmates, play game of dodge-ball or climb on the jungle gym.
