Who needs patience for a masterpiece. This is gorgeous and quite a setting. I love the motion picture you are singing with your carefully crafted words. Of course I'm partial to fairies and all kinds of magic.

I enjoy your poems about the mysterious fairies. It makes me want to check behind my oak trees. We have a grove of them in our front yard. They themselves are shaped in such away that they look mysterious. Another wonderful job.

Very nice. this is another type of poem that I'm unfamiliar with. Interesting style. I love fairies, so I'm sure I will enjoy this series. Excellent job on the visuals, perfect rhymes and great flow, and a great photo to accent. I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Okay, I promise I wont't tell your secret encounter with the bridesmaids in that blessed ceremony under the oak tree. I like the narrating nature of this poem and I look forward to the second and third parts...

I love part one, and I am eager to read part two, Brooke. This is a gentle little poem of fairies and woodland creatures. You used the ottava rima form perfectly and gave me a smile.

This is simply amazing. Obviously I have never heard of an ottava rima poem, but if this is any indication of what is yet to come I am anxiously holding my breath. This is just beautiful and tells such an elegant story. I am marking this as a favorite so as to be able to re-read again at my leisure. Just marvelous work.

adewpearl,
Your ottava rima seems like a difficult form, however, you make it look very easy with this masterpiece!
These lines sung out to me: "Below the knotted oak's bent limbs I spied a caravan of snails at crawling pace."
"Thus I became an uninvited guest
at ceremonies magical and blessed."
Very nice work Brooke, as usual!

I love your little fairy wedding and can just see them on their little snails. This is just how I always thought fairyland and your poem was so adorable, so from another century and space, that it's my new favorite. I didn't think that you could get any better but you just keep outdoing yourself. Jeanne

Hello Brooke, This is pure magic, it reminds me of the type of poetry I
read in my early teens. My mother loved poetry we used to read it to
her. Thank you for all the hard work, I for one really appreciate it.
