How sweet! I love your word pictures, especially: "Upon each shell a fairy sat astride,
who rode her sluggish steed with gladsome grace." "Gladsome grace" is such a delightful phrase!

The photo chosen complements your poem perfectly, enhancing the mystical, delicate tale.

I think if one is thanked for their patience in advance, it forces them to have patience that they normally wouldn't have, so well done on that aspect of your authors notes. Now on to the poem, the premise is promising and the story quite an enjoyable read, to think a fairy princess rides on her snail steed. You must have felt so out of place, yet excited to witness the most secret of secrets. Do tell us more. mstad55

I absolutely love the discription of the oak tree -- you're using such vivid imagry here. The picutre of the gnarrled oak is so perfect. Can't wait to see how it ends. Blessings, Deb

    Oh, I so know that 'can't wait to see' feeling! I never know exactly how a novel's going to end until I write the last line. A general idea, yes, but both of the ones I've done didn't end at all where I thought they would. :) Happy break, Deb

What an imaginative and magical poem this is. It made me feel as if I were in this secretive world you wrote of and that I had to keep the secret also.

I am looking forward to this wedding. I like the image of the fairies riding the snails. This is imaginative and you create an atmosphere where the reader wants to keep reading and is looking forward to the next poem. Great work.
