Very nice, I could imagine this as a wedding vow. I knew I would like it from the moment I read this line:
sing me a sunrise serenade
Beautiful

A beautiful description of what I, at least, take to be a wedding and reception. I love how you work all the names of flowers in. And I love the saying from the Old Prayer Book that you have in your penultimate line. Good use of the abcb rhyme scheme. Great juxtaposition of picture and poem.

Alvin, what a lovely review from you - I had not heard of most of these flowers before yesterday, and they just screamed out to be made into a poem :-) You are most generous and I am most pleased :-) Brooke

Awww...super cute. This should be a wedding vow! Very sweet soft words and delicate flow. I've never heard of that kind of flower but its so awesome that you were inspired by the name enough to write a poem. I love your poetry and will be reading more of it.

Hi Brooke,
After reading your last wildflower poem won my heart I couldn't let this one slip by. I really enjoy where your imagination is taking you. This was so much fun to read and added a smile to my day. I think these are real gems and would love to see you do more of them.
They're wonderful!

I love this alluring poem.
The flower names are so romantic and your infused them into your story-poem so smoothly.
I enjoyed this VERY creative piece. The artwork fits seamlessly with the tie-the-knot flower theme. ;)
Great work, Brooke. I can see this on a flowery wedding invitation!

What a positively delightful and enchanting idea for

voice and vibrancy to antique heirloom flowers in troth
to a beloved beau! Such an elated tone and touch flows
throughout with engaging lyrical flow and nostalgia.

Again you succeed with another "happy poem." The warmth of romance is well captured with the warmth of the language and imagery you choose. Even a cynic would find your poetry uplifting.

So beautiful and perfect in every way! Your lovely poem appeals to the heart as well as the senses. Total eye candy for the soul! Thank you so much for sharing. I so enjoyed the whimsy, gentle rhythm and pretty visual that "Kiss Me" creates, I almost don't mind heading out to my garden to weed in 90 degree heat today!
