Jan, this is so inspirational. He is with us every single day of our lives and answers our questions in so many different ways if only we would hear and listen.
Just beautiful.
Hugs and blessings

How did you know I needed to red a message like this this morning, and tomorrow, and maybe next month? Spectacular. I touched my heart, and my mind and gave me the peace I needed. I witness now that Jesus talk to me throughout others, in this case you, thank you,

Ah, this is so sweet. A fine testament to the grace of your beloved Jesus. It flows smoothly and echoes the deep faith you carry in your heart. I did not notice any spags.
Nice to see you posting again after a long hiatus!

This is a beautiful story, Janilou. But then, it is not really a story for all who believe Jesus rests within us; it is the truth. Your story makes the point that all we have to do is call his name and he is there to lift us up and comfort our pain. You did an excellent job in interlacing faith with a story about milking goats. It is well-written and easy to follow. Above all, the message is very powerful. God Bless You for spreading the Good News.
Blessing2you,
BJ

Jan,
This is an excellent religious short, very centered on Jesus' love for us all. I enjoyed reading it, and I couldn't find anything to criticize. I especially liked Jesus's appearing in the milking barn and later taking the time to talk to a barn swallow.

Hi Jani-Lou:)
Thank you for sharing this inspirational story. It lifted my spirits at a time when I was feeling overwhelmed by my ever growing stack of unfinished writing projects.
I was feeling helpless and alone. Then your story came and reminded that Jesus stood by my side, ready to lp, if only I remember to ask. What a flood of relif. I feel like cares of a thousand goats have been lifted ftom my mind.
Keep up the good writing.

Lovely story, Jani! You know I'm not Christian, but for me Jesus is one of the - what to call them? Great teachers? Great souls? Loving and enlightened, wholly part of the Light, and guiding anyone who wants to be guided on their life's path. The comfort to be found in such a connection is hard to describe. And no, I'm not putting Louis on anything like that level!
This piece was clear and simply stated. The end reference to the barn swallow tied in very well (I presume intentionally) with the "not a swallow falls" quotation.
No nits or spag, good to see you posting again, hon!
Love the Disneyworld pic, too. :)

What a beautiful conversation. How I wish I had been there too. It is so wonderful to know that not even a little sparrow will not fall to the ground without His knowing about it. It is so good to be reminded that we are not insignificant in his eyes, and that He is always with us.
I did so enjoy reading this essay.

salvation, I would have gone to the cross to save her alone. (close quote)
Just one little barn swallow in a world filled with birds, and yet, the Savior, the King of Kings stopped to speak with her this morning. I wondered if she'd ever felt insignificant?
Not any more.
I love your conversation with Jesus. Your ending is beautiful. After the flood, God showed His covenant, not only with man, but with every creature on earth. I love that God loves the animals.
I still struggle with God's purpose for animal sacrifice in the Old Testament and His plans (according to my understanding of Scripture) to reestablish animal sacrifices with Ezekiel's Temple in the end-times.
