Love the rhyme and the rhythm. Very romantic and beautiful. Not a fan of the picture. I would have chosen something more classic, but that's just me. The poem is easy to read and to follow thanks to the AABB rhyming scheme you chose.

Hey Boogienights, thanks for your very nice review. Well my wife has been a part of my inspiration all these years but I guess (Without bragging I hope) I seem to have a slight talent for writing romantic poetry in general without making it to sexual in nature. This and another poem "In the heart of the Kiss" I recently revived are both in my romantic book of poetry I just recently published.
While all of the poems in the book are in my portfolio up here on Fanstory, they have got proofread and checked out for the book, the ones up here may have some Grammar and Punctuation issues, you may or may not notice. I need to get them corrected up here.
Anyway you know your husband better then anyone, I would think he is just fine in the romantic department when it counts :-) Take Care.

It is very romantic, a little sensual, the rhymes are great until your last couplet, *mind* and * time* do not rhyme. I think as far as romance poetry goes it is a little gem. I lean more to the erotic when it comes to romance but that my friend is me. Great poem though, the ladies on site are always good at letting you know just how good they are : ))

Thanks Hitcher for your great review. Sometimes I can not always come up with a right on match for the rhyming word so I get a near rhyme or something close. If I revisit it at a later date and really look it over I may change something that speaks to me.
I understand where you are coming from on the Erotic side of things I guess over my years I have wrote a couple here and there that have crossed the border if you will, but never published them at all. That was before I was ever on Fanstory.
Yea i seem to notice that about the women up here to some degree. Take care

Good Wednesday to you as well. Yes title of the book is Romantic Moments, Sub-title: Poetry For Couples In Love. And yes going through Amazon / KDP. Been having certain people help me on this matter and so far all is turning out decent. If all goes well should be out in maybe a week give or take a couple of days.
