sherrygreywolf,
I had to check out your Volcano poem after receiving your most honorable review.
This poem is very erotic, as I am sure you have heard from your other reviews. You had me off to Miriam-Webster with
sinuous.
This one is well deserving of the first place!

Hi again, Linda - glad you liked my poem, Dance of Fire. There were some really good entries for that contest and I was slightly blown away when I won. For some reason, I have always thought that volcanos and love are alot alike - hot, unpredictable, unstoppable, utterly beautiful and, many times, devastatingly destructive. Don't know if any of that came through in the poem, but I enjoyed the experience of writing it.
have a great week - sherry

You are so right about volcanoes and love!
A powerful poem and well deserving of the win!

Woo-hoo! Great, naughty write, and creative too--I don't think I'll ever look at or think of lava the same way again. Thanks for putting a grin on this poet's face! :)

Thanks so much for the great review. I really wasn't trying to be super naughty when I wrote this - just creative. People have pointed out some stuff to me that wasn't intentional, but actually makes me look MUCH more clever than I actually am. LOL Anyway - glad you enjoyed it ...
have a great afternoon - sherry

I'm voting on the 'VOLCANO Haiku' contest and as always, I am reading all entries before deciding. The number of entries and need to stay employed prohibit a more detailed review, but I love the way your volcanic tango bumps and grinds. Nicely done.
I wish you the best in the contest.
The only problem
with Haiku is that you just
get started and then

volcano tango ...
hehe. What a clever write this is. Visually stimulating from the title all the way down to the climactic ending. :-) Geeze I'm punny.
Thanks for the smiles here. I can see why you are near the top of the list today.
Fun to read and imagine.

I really enjoyed this fresh approach in this well conceived haiku. The picture you paint is marvellous. It was an unexpected pleasure. Rose.

I'd never have thought of making aerotic notions out of a volcano, though now you've done it, it seems obvious. Such is the heart of a great metaphor. I salute you!

This is an excellent haiku, sherry. You nailed the required form and produced a vivid mind picture. I like the clever satori--"volcano tango".

Really excellent imagery in your haiku.
You took this to a new level.
I could see the images within your words.
No errors, just pure haiku.
