Here I am again. Same question. This was one of your best, I don't care about the spacing. It's what is said in the story. Also don't forget the song, who's web site I have copied. Very, very good.

This is a very clever, innovative approach to telling a story, with your seven different situations of seemingly no hope and despair, but somehow hope at the end. Yes, there will be a day.... Lovely job. mslyla

Your writing never ceases to amaze me, Jan.
So much sadness and desperation? and hope that
exists when reaching out to our God in a time
of need. All so beautifully and eloquently captured
here, it moved me to tears. It deserves a six, but
I don?t have one.
Sometimes, we can?t find the right words to say, but just
being there to listen and hold a hand is a comfort. Reading
this serves to bring to mind just how lucky we all are.
One of my sons is a psychotherapist who is on call
for those who are so brought down with sorrow
and depression. He has a wonderful way with
people, so soothing and comforting. A gift in
itself.
God bless you,
Margaret.

Thank you so much, Margaret. Your son sounds like a wonderful person. I'm sure he has changed many lives for the better. I truly appreciate all your kind words about my writing. Knowing you found it worthy of six stars is good enough for me. :-)

As always I enjoy your work, you make it seem so real and effortless. I love the writing style, the different scene with different people going through their trials and trusting God. This was beautifully wrote. Janilou have you thought about sending your work to a Christian magazine like Harruh? I think I spell it write.

Very inspiring and hope-filled:-)
Just afew suggestions:
floor sobbing, tossing the gun to one side. ... "to one side" sounded a little awkward. I recommend omitting it
toward a village three days walk away ... this is a bit awkward
Great job:-)
