Thank you for the good review.

I love this elegant and beautiful tribute to a loved one, assuming the rose is a metaphor. I still have not attempted the difficult sonnet form, but maybe someday. Thanks for sharing this one, with its many lovely phrases such as "so frail your earthly spree.

Eternal Muse,
Your poem is eloquent and sophisticated.
Your words trace the the life of the rose with dignity
and passion.
Our own lives run a similar pattern, allowing the
reader vivid imagery. Thank you for sharing.
Peace and Joy,

The poem uses the extended metaphor of the rose well to describe a love affair that didn't last. But was passionate in its time.
Keep writing and stay healthy

As a rose enthusiast, I loved this poem and the accompanying picture. This is written in such a classic poetic style, one that can and should be read aloud and enjoyed for its musical tones. Thank you for sharing this.

This is a beautiful poem that captures the essence of the red rose. Your sonnet form is smooth and holds the reader into your words. "We found each other through your mystic charm" is my favorite line, for that is what the rose does, charm us.

I can see why this earned a seal of quality. There is a lot of powerful imagery here, for some reason it actually reminded of me of Beauty and the Beast when I was reading it and the red rose in the story. An excellent piece of writing!

Beautiful sonnet that captures the essence of the Rose. The eternal symbol of love and romance, who can resist its sultry fragrance and velvety petals strewn on a bed. Well done.
