Very touching. I lost my father years ago, so it meant a little extra something for me. I guess we all imagine what our loved ones are doing in the great beyond. I think you painted a beautiful picture with this story.

Thank you so much for this review or comment. I have reached a point where I cannot hope to catch up with my reviews in need of answering without resorting to a carbon copied response. I hate doing it, but with 700 plus unanswered, I can't keep up! Goat kidding season is looming, and we are spending more and more time outside preparing our buildings. My muse is driving me crazy trying to write as much as she can, before we end up on our three-to-four month sabbatical. LOL. I'm hoping you will forgive me. Four years pass faster than sometimes the first years of our lives. Especially through grade school. But after that it's off to the races. Like this year, I can't believe it's mid November, just yesterday it was February. My father passed before we could become friends. I was ten. It's nice to have memories, either dreams or converations with family. Over the years I have become close to my fathers sister. She often tells me stories about him. As a review, you should know by all you've just read that your poem evokes emotions that everyone can feel and identify with. A great as you say last minute rush, no appologies necessary.mstad55

I have to confess that I was so swept up in the sheer joy of this story that I did not notice any errors, but if the Louise you allude to is Louis Lady I know she has wonderful eagle eyes for that stuff :)

2.) I wanted to hug her, but I knew without asking it was impossible.
(remove the comma before 'it', because if you remove the words within the commas, the remaining text doesn't make sense. That is the test. There is another way you could do it, but it would require two more commas, and I don't think that is necessary.)

I just finish reading a poem. It was very colorful and so is this beatiful, heart warming story. It is filled with color. It makes me almost forget that winter is here. Dreams can be so vivid they often stay with us a lifetime.
