Beautiful, amazin, uplifting. I liked your use of several stories combined to show the universal caring, the everywhere-at-once feeling. Beautiful job. I hesitated to point out any problem in so beautiful a work, by one as talented as you, but I do see one tiny typo - not in the story, but at the end. When you speak of Jesus and the Pharises, "I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out. (Luke 19:40), needs a 'close quote' after cry out. You couldn't have done a better job on the subject. Thank you. Marcia

Oh my goodness. Well, first of all, I can't type and cry at the same time. Wait a minute.
Okay, I think. Whatever is it in us ... in me, that at the very name, my throat constricts. Jesus, Jesus. No other name by which we may be saved. Master, Teacher, Jesus, like the fragrance after the rain.
Well, my throat hurts but my heart is singing to the high heavens. Bless you, Jan.
Hugs,
Gayle

I thought this was a very good poem. It kept to the scheme and moved along at a nice pace. Although at the end everything sounds like it turns out great, but her chicks are still gone.

Thank you for the review. Was there something you thought that needed to be corrected? Just wondering about the four stars.
Thanks!

Dear Janilou,
You always touch my heart with your writing. Your beautiful stories truly move me and make me think about the salt of the earth, of Christ, and of the grace He brings to bear. Thank you. This is very well-constructed and a much needed message for me tonight.

I enjoyed your religious parables, and hope that others will benefit from your spiritual guidance. Hold tight to your faith as others will hold tight to their own.

Actually, I thought the beautiful story of the songbird and the little sparrow was more touching and true to the nature of God than anything else I read. It's how we need to be in our soul. Certainly, the Lord will always be around for those who sincerely call on him.
Very nice writing.

Although, I personally found the format hard to read, it did not take away from the beautiful message.
Thank you for the uplifting message at the start of my day.
