This is an excellent post for this contest Jan. You are one of the few that used "steel" in a way that made sense. Also, this piece has the excellent message of how selfish an act it really is and the pain and suffering suicide causes all those left behind to try and comprehend. well done indeed.

This is a very important poem that could save a life. I appreciate that it points out how it tragically affects others if we take our own line, and I like that it suggests making a plan to deal with our problems and face life.
I think you are correct in saying most of us have experienced low and depressing times when we wish we could just die. This poem would work for someone who is religious (which I am) and someone who is not.

This is a very important poem that could save a life. I appreciate that it points out how it tragically affects others if we take our own line, and I like that it suggests making a plan to deal with our problems and face life.

living is definitely a worthy cause even on days when you are sick. LOL easy to read and follow. no spaggies do i see. imagery is excellent. stanzas are well written. smooth flow and rhyme. keep up the good work~
