Where we live there are plenty of falling rock zones, especially as you move a bit north into the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Great piece here, Don

Nice. Very nice. Simple and yet truthful, always out there on the road, warning us; but how many of us truly pay attention to those signs--when one hits us?

You got my vote.

this is ok, but it certainly doesn't show much imagination or any kind of a clever word-play that this kind of contest demands. I think you could have come up with something a little more inspired.

This rating does not count towards story rating or author rank.
The highest and the lowest rating are not included in calculations.

A good story in six words. I've read signs that said - Look out for falling rocks.

Good piece. I didn't know you had a book going on. Keep up the good work, my friend. It's good to have something good to think on, isn't it?

A six word chapter? This a micro-micro story! Great imagination. I will have to read the other chapters to figure out what is going on. Thanks for the chapter.

Hello Teri, Now you can take you 6 word story two ways. Watch out the huge hurtful things that folks and hurt you with-
Or just don't stand any where there are rocks that by accidental fall upon you.

Do you know I have always looked around very time we have travelled near places where rocks can fall.It is certainly a sentence/story we should all heed and be weary off.

Love and hugs

Hello darlin'!

The good ole "Fallen Rock" zone~how clever of you. I swear you're getting more wise by the minute. This is a stroke of genius and worthy of a win. Good luck, my sweet friend!

(My mom used to tell us a story about a little indian boy while travelling from state to state growing up. To keep us from getting bored and restless she made up tales with themes from roadside signage. His name? Fallen Rock. She always told the best stories!)

Love you!
Penny
