It's the other females of the world that you have to watch.
I haven't completely convinced my hubby that they are out there. Or hadn't until a close friend suggested that "he come up to see her sometime."(Yes she used the Mae West tone)

An entertaining piece of writing. Yes, men can be slow on the uptake. Us women are very good at reading body language. Can notice instantly when a woman takes an interest in her man. A well written work, and enjoyable.

I smiled, pulled Jez's knife out of my back, ran it through the dishwasher and used it to cut up apples and make my man one of his favorite pies. Some say a man hungers for only two things - good food and great sex.
This is absolutely wonderful line. I loved it. Great way of telling your story too. I have one of those husbands too. But he's not marlborro man women chasing him. But he is cute.

I liked it, not my usual reading choice, but done very well. I know exactly what you are trying to convey. Men, of course, come from another planet, and don't quite get it when a female of the species comes on to them. They think its because they are hot, and they are, but not in the way they think. They are hot because they are working, clean cut, well looked after-by their wives of course- and different. When these other women come on to them, its because they want to be treated like that, not realizing that if they put in all that effort at home they wouldn't need to roam. See, I get it. Kudos!
