I think they have connected to the right person with the right sort of attitude to help, although I can even see her adopting the little beastie. She seems to the touch to read with him. I am on pins waiting for the next episode. Well done.

Hmm, I'm not sure she's ready to be a mum, but we shall have to see.

I'm staying in a hotel for a large chunck of the next two weeks, so hopefully you shouldn't need to be on those pins too long

    Thanks for the review

She may not be ready but I can see her being a major key to Paul and Scarth becoming more like a family unit. Face it they already on that road.

This chapter was enjoyable. I especially liked the way you portrayed the conversation between Paul and Scarth. The dialoge between the characters was believable. I'm quite getting to like Scarth.

Hmm perhaps I'm making him too lovable. I'll have to see if his appetite can drop him into trouble again.

    Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks

Very humorous piece. I enjoyed the bit about him trying to act all cute and vulnerable. I am going to enjoy seeing this thing thrown back into hell. ha ha

Not as much as Paul will enjoy it I suspect. Thanks for your review. I'm glad you liked it

Does the food become visible as it is eaten? I enjoyed the give-and-take of the talk about the monster. Great lead-in to the next chapter. Fine job. Ray

No, everything that comes into the immediate area of Scarth is, not exactly invisble, but unable to be consciously noticed. In earlier chapters I described how people seemed to avoid him in busy streets, without knowing he was there. Otherwise just an invisble monster would be run over everytime he tried to cross the street.

Glad you liked it. Thanks for the review
